Well sorry the letters gonna be really short this week, It´s been a very busy week out here!! The members here are amazing, they are always giving us food and references, 2 things missionaries cant get enough of haha! So anyways this week we have been running around preparing 5 different people for baptism on the 30th! We´ve seriously been seeing the Lord´s blessings lately for our area and for us.. Because we sure couldn´t do it by ourselves haha! But as well this last week, actually yesterday, I had the chance to head back to Ozama, and participate in the Noche Blanca, and baptize P and N! Super cool experience. The mission has been working hard to complete our goal of every Companionship baptizing this month,, the month is coming to an end and we´ve all been praying, fasting, and working hard! Excited to see how things go,, Love ya guys and hope ya have a great week!

Well this week has been pretty stinking crazy! I´m defenintly learning how to adapt to quick changes,, it was a little bit hard to suddenly leave everyone in the middle of the transfer both Member Friends (thats you Luis), Investigators, and Missionary Friends.. A little bit tough to go, and to add to it right when I get into the Zone (Las Americas), Elder Daniels tells me I get to give a tema to the zone, so the stress level was pretty high the first couple days, but I´m feeling pretty accostomed now.
My son, Elder Palma, is super cool! He´s from Tampico Mexico,, yea like the Tampico drink, although he says it doesnt even exisist there. He´s a hard working guy and he has just 1 year as a member! That´s a pretty big thing to go on a mission just after 1 year as a member! He´s 21 years old and really knows a lot about the mission lessons. We´ve worked hard this week, this area is really good and the members keep us working hard with the References, The ward here focuses a looot on the missionary work and we actually have members feeding us on the weekends! Pretty good deal if you ask me,, We even have a dog who follows us around in the street named Tigre haah! he just follows us around and usually waits outside for us to finish up the lessons.. So I´ve been enjoying it quite a bit out here,, We live in a house of 4 with Elder De Lo Santos, and Elder Matattia who, if ya remember, was my 1st district leader,, He´s still doing crazy ol matattia stuff haha! Like the other day he found this car belt in the road and washed it up, took off the buckle to his old belt, put it on the car belt and made the car belt a belt for his waist haha! Also one night we go up to the roof and hes up there doing these Juto kicks in the air in the dark haha, quite the guy! So training has been really fun,, it´s cool to know I´m helping out the future of the mission,, And we´re gonna keep workin hard!! Sorry for the lame letter this week, we didn´t have much time cause the power was out, but hope everyone has a great week, love ya guys!
PS we went to a mall named sambil this week and ate a Johnny Rockets, I also found myself in the toilet this week,, the picture explains why haha! Have a good one!

Well.. Things are gonna change very quickly and very unexpectedly this week haha! So I just got the call about 20 minutes ago that at 4 o clock I'll be leaving my area and heading to La Llave.. And.. I .. Will.. Be a FATHER! haha! Well a Step Father,, I'll be finishing the training of a missionary from Mexico named Elder Palma. I'll be a step father because his first father was the one and only Elder Auger! My Awesome companion from the MTC! I'm so excited, but pretty shocked cause this transfer is only half way over! It's also gonna be pretty hard to leave everybody here in this Area and Zone.. I've made some really good friends here in the ward and in the Zone.. Especially the guys in my house, I was actually talking to Pe'a the other day saying that when we leave we need to at the same time (cause we came together from Villa Mella) and it would feel empty to be in the house without each other haha, The sad moments don't end in the mission, but it's alright cause having sad moments means you've had good moments.. And the mission is full of them, You continuosly meet new friends..
But dang the area this week was on fire! We found tons of new families and put down 7 different baptism dates for this Noche Blanca.. Persio is still progressing very well, but Camilo still didn't make it to church!! Pretty frustrating, but I know he'll make it soon.. Yisel and Jesus are out in country this week so I won't be able to say goodbye to them.. this hapened super pronto! As well we started recieving a bunch of references! Including a family named Familia Santana.. Their mother is a less-active member and they all want to be baptised (3 of them).. One of them even wants to be a missionary.. The Lord has seriously been blessing us here in the area.. Funny because a lot of this happened after our Mission wide fast that we can complete our mission goal of every companionship baptising this next white night!
So something that was pretty funny that happened this week.. I was on intercambio with Elder Estrada (our Zone leader and actually he will be coming to my area) and we were encountered with a crazy drunk guy..suddenly, Drunk guy started acting like Jackie Chan and standing on one leg and like did this forse push with his hands towards our direction while making a ninja roar. After several force pushes he looked at his hands like what the crap.. He possibly didn't
use the corect movement of leg or maybe his chi energy was off balance.. Anyways he tried to move us again (i think he was using the force) and that time i stepped back and said wow!! he started jumping like he felt it!!! He knooooows! haha crazy drunk dominicans..
Anyways guys sorry my email this week is a little scattered, it represents my brain right now.. Things happened pretty fast and I've gotta say goodbye to a few people, but wish me luck with Training! I'm so excited to head out to La Llave (area) in Las Americas (Zone).. Another Adventure! Wish me luck!
Also today I sat on some rocks by the ocean and burnt some cookies enjoy the pics

So pre apology for the short letter,, i can't really think of a whole lot of new things that happened here this week.. Other than the Conference!! I don't really think I've realized the true importance of conference unti i've been out here in the Mission.. I had a lot of questions answered, and some of my favorite talks were from Elder Holland ( of course) Dallin H. Oaks, and Especially D. Todd Christopherson! In total the message that kept ringing to me was kind a mixture of the talks.. We're going to have opposition in life.. It's just part of like unavoidable. BUT the oppositions can be dealt with a lot easier when we have Faith in Christ and know that it is part of his plan to develop us into the people he wants us to be.. The conference is awesome.
Ahh also I had the chance to watch most of the sessions in English, but not the preisthood session.. I understood, but was dozing a bit cause it wasover here.. Then all of a sudden i heard in a spanish accent the word Selfie and Chewbacca President Uchtdorf has a good sense of Humor! Also was thinking maybe they'll permit us to watch the new Star Wars here in the mission since they mentioned it in the General Confernce.
So This week we ended up talking to Y and J about their baptism.. I'm serious every lesson Y says some crazy spiritual stuff, she's so prepared sometimes I wish we had a portable font! We had some good lessons with her this week and invited her to be baptised for the.. She didn't end up praying about it, cause she still needs to be married and for some reason actually cant be married right now? But I promised her that if she really prayed she would find a way to keep this commandment before her date. So We'll see how things end up going this week.. We've got 2 folks still preparing for baptism.. P and C.. They've been doing good and making some serious improvements in their life, pero todavia estamos buscando por mas personas quien están preparada para aceptar evangelio.
Well Guys, we also went to a huge mall named megacentro today,, I only bought a pair of 13 dollar shoes.. pretty nice for 13 dollars.. and we bought icee's (as you will see in the pic).. Pretty cool I felt like i was back home for a minute haha!
Have a good week everyone!
