Hello there friends,
This week has been a pretty busy, but good week,, We had to leave to the offices in Gazcue almost every day this week for some kind of meeting, Makes ya pretty tired, but the meetings are pretty enjoyable, especially cause ya get to meet up with a bunch of friends haha! So anyways, something cool that happend this week was that we got 2 couples to commit to marraige this week! I was kinda suprised, cause I thought actually getting them to commit was a myth, shocked me a bit when they said yes haha! Those two would be the Familia Rosariao and Fam. Ferrera,, hopefully we can put down a baptism date here soon with them! As well we found a new family of 3,, Paola, Samuel, and Samil,, Pretty interesting with this fam cause Samuel turns out to be a member like 10 years less active! Nothing too crazy happened this week, but our home dog Tigre (who is the dog that follows around the area) got his nails painted,, im not really sure, cant read his mind or anything, but he seemed pretty ticked off about it.. poor guy.. As well, theres this rooster named george who wakes us up every morning,, Usually i watch him from the rooftop to see what he´s up to, but this week i had the opportunity to find him in the street,, so naturally, i caught him and let him perch on my arm like an Eagle! Hmm what else happened this week,, well today we went to La Duarte, which is this street thats got a whole bunch of little stores that sale a bunch of cheap stuff, We got approchaed by a drunk man who tried talking to me in english and tenderly touched the cheek of my companion with his nast hands😅,, not sure why, but drunk people love to talk to the Mormons! Almost exactly after the drunkard I was confronted buy a guy selling this little chinese bamboo plant thing.. At first i didn´t really want it, but He told me all ya gotta do is stick it in water and let it grow and you´ll have a little friend,, pretty good point.. So now i´ve got a little chinese bambo thing sitting on my desk named Chapo Guzman,, I´ll send ya guys pictures of him next week! So guys I think thats about it for the week,, things have been going by really fast, but its been so enjoyable out here! The Ward works hard and the Lord has been blessing us with lots of success and it just feels good to know you´re doing the Lords Work.. Hope you guys have a great week, I´ll talk to  ya soon!

So This past week has been good, but pretty short! Sorry I don´t write much sometimes i can´t remember what went down in the week haha, But we did get transfers this week,, So I´ll be staying the same in La Llave and finish Elder Palma´s training and now I´ll be working as District Leader! I don´t really know what to do, so I´ll guess we´ll see how it goes haha! In our house we´ve still got Elder De Los Santos (Dominican) but he got a new companion.. and that new companion is E. Nateren! haha the same E. Nateren that was in the house with me in Las Americas 2, I was way excited to hear he´d be coming back! So again supposedely this next week is supposed to get pretty cray because they´re finally voting for the elections, which means more drunken mobs! yay! So these past couple of days its been raining like crazy!! I never pack an umbrella, because rumor has it the more you get wet in the rain, the prettier your wife will be.. So i decided to put that to test and just trudged out into the rain.. Lets just say my wifes gonna be smokin cause it looked like I hopped in the shower with all my clothes on! It rained so much that the streets turned into rivers!!, so we had to trudge through a couple and finally called for a member to come rescue us with his car haha, we had to sit in his house for about 30 minutes as the cats and dogs fell outside. Inside I was telling this young buck named Brian about hunting.. The majority of Dominicans hate hunting and think we´re monsters for killing animals, but I finally got one interested. I talked with bryan for 30 minutes strait about the different animals i´ve killed and how we do it 😂 He wants to come to utah now and bear hunt! Things have been going really good over here! I´ve been making tons of new friends and new memories! Hope things are going good for you guys back home, have a great one!

Hello there friends,
So I don´t have too much time, but this week was really great! We´ve seen so many blessings here in La Llave! Anyways this week we were rushing around to get everyone prepared and planned for their baptism, unfortunately V wasn´t able to make it to this baptism, Y, L, C and J did end up getting baptised! And wow it was a great day.. In the Morning we headed out to the Temple with the Ward and we sat in the Gardens with our investigators and taught about the Temples.. One young feller named Deive came up to me and said he felt really peaceful, and said he felt the spirit and knew this was the true church, and told us he wanted to be baptised! Very awesome experience! As well while we were in the Temple, my 1st ward Santa Cruz, was also visiting the Temple, it was awesome to see them again, but a couple of expereinces helped me realize the difference in Wards hah.. For example a member from Santa Cruz came up to me and realized that I had a different companion and with an astonished look asked me,, Oh you guys had transfers?? I said yes sister,, 4 months ago!😂 Suddenly I was embraced in a bear hug, by someone, and that someone turned out to be Luis Miguel from Las Americas II (my 2nd ward),, It was so awesome to see Him and a suprise, it was like a huge family reunion that day!! Then we packed up with La Llave and headed back singing called to serve on the bus ride to the Baptism.. The Baptism that night was amazing! The Ward takes such good care of the Members! Every member of the different Orginisations gave a special welcome to the New Converts, including the Bishop,, after wards Yokaira (who is the tallest in the pic) was crying and gave her family (who aren´t members yet) a big hug. For the New Converts, it just looked like a long wait-search finally ended! The Lord has been blessing us like crazy out here! in our area and our mission.. our mission almost completed the goal of every companionship baptising.. 87 of the 91 companionships here baptised and we had 158 new Converts in the month of April! Very exciting thing to be a part of!!
Well Hope everything back home is going great! Talk to ya soon!
