Well, i'm back in the campo! and just a bunch of normal/crazy stuff has been happening out here.. Fist off i entered into this giant hole that an investigator was making behind his house.. It was a pretty good sized hole,, about 11 feet deep, and he dug it by himself with a shovel, while i was in the hole i realized a giant pipe was directed into the whole.. I asked him what the whole was for, and to my suprise I found out I was in a 11 foot poop hole haha! good thing it wasnt in use yet!  As well this Thursday I smashed this huge trantula with Tabitha! AAAND I got soaked about every day this week in the rain haha! It rains a ton out here! I'm really loving it out here,, with all the adventure and humble people, its practically the perfect area, plus to top things off, in our little back yard, we've got trees of avacado, guaba, orange, and chinola! And theres a member (and shes the missionary mom out here) named hermana Heidi, she cooks for us every day, and we bring the fresh fruit from our trees over and she makes a juice on the spot! There is a juice that i love, its called Sour Orange,, where they basically just take green oranges and make juice out of them, sounds weird, but tastes great!
So this week we were able to see some pretty awesome things,, First off i'm sure you guys remember the baptism of E? It happened about the 2nd week i was here last transfer, anyways, this sunday he got the Aaronic Priesthood, and was able to baptize his cousin Tarzan.. Hehe, his names not actually tarzan, but thats what everyone calls him.. He climbs up trees and pics me coconuts! But anyways, we went out to the Rio 12 to prefrom the baptism, and it was the same day that E had recieved the Priesthood, and Tarzan said I want El! So E did it,, and did it good! On the way out of the baptism, we got caught up in the rain (youll see a pic with me, my comp, and the branch president soaked!) and we got soaked to the BONE, We hopped in the back of the truck to head back home (and there was no room inside) so we just stayed in the back and got pelted by golf ball sized rain drops the whole ride home haha! It was a little uncomfortable, but nonetheless an amazing experience! E has been super strong lately, and has becoming a great friend.. He's been leaving with us a lot lately, and its awesome cause hes got this little bike and he just cruises around along side us, popping wheelies and stuff haha! the campo life is awesome, I would love to train out here!
But thats about it for this week, My comp is elder Carias from guatamala, he's awesome! Elder Johnson and Elder Salazar are the DL's out here, and also awesome missionaries,
Love ya guys!

CRAZY WEEK!! BUSY WEEK!
holy cow guys, so first off you're gonna see a picture of my shoe.. I got the sole replaced the other day and they gave me Frankenstein Soles, and on the bottom it says DESTROYER,, pretty crazy right? So anyways everyones been checking out the new Frank in 2016's..

And now for the Noche Blanca... So luckily V, S (her daughter), J, and M were prepared for their baptism and interview at the start of the week,(and they were all baptized in the Noche Blanca), and we were able to help everyone else in the Zone with preparing and Interviewing their investigators.. Literally every day this week I was on an intercambio with one of the elders from the Zone,, we ran around like crazy
Anyways i'll start off now with the day of the Noche blanca.. We start the day off looking around and reminding everyone about the Noche Blanca and tried getting everyone there early.. Aound 2:30.. We were supposed to leave at 3, but theres a little thing in the DR called Tiempo Dominicano,, which is about  1 to 2 hours after the actual time something is supposed to take place.. Sadly the 3 School Busses were all running on tiempo dominicano and they picked us up at 4:30!! And our crazy school bus (and now I appreciate how my dad drives) rear ended into a tow truck!! (and there was more than 100 in the bus) Luckily we're in the DR and we just kept truckin along haha! So we finally got to the chapel of Boca Chica,, Things were a bit hectic, but when we got there, there were about 350 plus people.. It looked like a Stake Conference! So we originally planned to baptize with a little bit of light left,, around 5 or so, when the sun was setting, but due to the dominican time, we got out of the chapel and onto the beach at 7,, and it was dark! It was pretty crazy up until that point, but we all got out into the Ocean and formed a little U shape, so everyone on shore could see us, and when the baptisms begun, all the Hecticness(if thats a word) Just slowed down until it was all gone, and the Spirit filled its place.. That night 41 of our Brothers and Sisters were able to make covenants with our heavenly father, and everyone of them can testify that the Spirit was there.. I'll try setting the scene, We were all out there (about 60 of us including those baptizing), the water was super calm and you could see the lights from the dock were reflecting off of it.. When the baptisms began the 300 on shore (led by President Corbitt and President De La Cruz) began to sing hymns.. 3 Months ago, In a meeting with the Stake President, Elder Affleck brought the idea up, It started off as an Idea, but with tons of work and even more Miracles, we were able to see it happen! Elder Affleck didn't get to see it in person, but it was made possible because of him, and it was a night that none of the 350 plus will forget!
The Mission is awesome!
P.S. I found stole this guitar from our Ward Mission leader, but wont be able to play it now cause i'm heading back out to the Campo! Yup their shipping me back to Gonzalo to be ZL in Hainamosa Campo.. TABITHA DADDYS COMIN HOME!
Have a great week, Elder Beard

10-03-16
Well guys as the title suggests it was a crazy week.. As you can see I got a little bit muddy this week riding the bike around,, theres been a cyclone hitting the country and it makes everything super muddy,, its pretty crazy riding around in the rain.. So  The week passed by pretty normally until I got the call in the middle of the week that I would be shipped back to La Llave the next day on a special transfer. And so thats where I'm at now,, Back workin in la llave, with as ZL of Las Americas A, with Elder Lanzas from Panama as my comp! A pretty crazy change, and a suprise.. After the 6 months here i thought I was done, but the Lord still has work for me to do here! It was only 2 weeks, and the majority of the people see me and say, Hey Elder Beard!... then they stop and think... Then they run up and hug me like WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE. Its happened with just about everyone, even the empenada guy, they're used to seeing me puttin around here! It feels a little weird to be back so fast, but it feels like i fit right back in at home.. Anyways things have been going great,, Thats about it for this week! I hope everything is going well for ya back home, Love and Miss ya all,
Elder Beard
I forgot about the best part of the week! GENERAL CONFERENCE!! I'll be quick cause i dont have time to write all of the talks and things I liked, cause its a lot! But more than anything, i see the conference has been changing for me,, Before to me it was like,, awe man this is great! But now, it felt like i was waking up Christmas morning!! And like they said in conference.. Spiritual experiences don't always depend on whats happening around you, but whats happening in you! The mission has helped changed my perspective on all of this and changed how i am on the inside!
Have a great one!

10-10-16
Well guys, today was another Average, but good week! There has been some pretty crazy tropical Cyclones and hurricanes hitting lately.. We all got a text on our phone saying that we're possibly gonna have to evacuate in the following days, but nothing too crazy ended up happening.. We just got rained on like CRAZY.. I didn't get a picture of us sopping wet.. But we did of Elder Burity and Elder Espinal! Look closely in that picture.. Yes, Elder Espinal is ringing his tie haha! More than anything these past storms have luckily passed over where we've been stationed!
We've been pretty low on investigators and References lately (remember I got moved to the dry side of La Llave) so we resorted to contacting haha! We contacted a ton and didn't come out with a lot of succes.. Until, around the last day of contacting we found a young buck named I, and we shared a little with him, he seemed pretty interesed, so we left a pamphlet and came back in 2 days.. On the return visit we found out that his dad had found and read the whole pamphlet and had liked it a lot! The dad wasn't there when we returned, but we have another appointment where he will be present! Although we planted a lot of seeds this week, that was a great blessing to see after all the hard work!
It was a hard working, but great week this week! and wow it flew by. Time flies by when you're working and when you're having fun😀 Love you guys and hope you have a great week!
